This Domain represents the people, places and sights around the southeastern corner of Texas, From Houston to the Rio Grande Valley and all points in between. Looking for a place to vacation? Why not check out the Texas Riviera! We got water sports, like surfing', swimming, boating, scuba diving, and oh yeah, FISHING! And while in South Texas, you must make a trip out to Padre Island, the barrier island that practically runs the length of the Texas Coast line. Just outside of Corpus Christi is the Padre Island National Seashore.
While in Corpus Christi or the Coastal bend, take a walk along one of the many beaches or visit the Texas State Aquarium, or "The USS Lexington" a world War II aircraft carrier that is now a museum and y'all can visit the Columbus Fleet while you're at it! The Art Museum of South Texas is a sure bet for art lovers, and why not take a bay cruise with Capt. Clark's Flagship tours or shop till ya drop in one or more of the shopping malls or gift shops found around the city.
Into History or sight seeing? Well South Texas has plenty of that. In San Antonio there's the Alamo! Enjoy a stroll down the river walk (Most Beautiful). If there is one place to visit while in Texas it should be San Antonio! Other places include Goliad, The King Ranch, Brownsville just to name a few.
