Musa xparadisiaca 'Horse Banana' Orinoco:
Musa orinoco is one of the most planted bananas
along the Gulf Coast. It is quit hardy and very easy to grow.
Fruit can be eaten raw or cooked. Plant grows to about 18 feet
and with plenty of water and fertilizer, can produce fruit every
year with the right growing conditions.
