This image of the Wodyetia bifurcata was taken June 11, 1999 notice the size of the Caladium leaves, the South Texas heat proved to much for them as they all faded away by August but began regrowing by September.

 
This photo of the Wodyetia trunk showing newly exposed trunk rings (image taken right after a tropical rain on October 11, 1999. Take note of the Carica papaya trunks and notice the difference in directions from the first image, this was done by hurricane Brett in August 1999.
