Syagrus romanzoffiana "Queen Palm", showing (two) spathe, that house, the inflorescences. Palm was planted in the April of 1997, from a bare-root plant, with 6 trunk-feet of height (see image below). Palm started to flower, November of 2000. Image taken February 17, 2001 The first Queen Palm we planted in our yard, was a bare root plant with about six feet of trunk.
