Jatropha gossypifolia (Bellyache tree): Flowers are not showy but the purple-mahogany-green colored leaves, makes this a beautiful tropical foliage plant for zones 9-11. Jatropha gossypifolia does not like frost, so if plant is killed by freezing temperatures the seed will survive and sprout when weather warms.
